July 3

Ahh July, when the Humidity festival arrives. Although the forecast for the weekend is to dry out and get hot again. Sunday's destination is First Watch on the Black Canyon. See you at Granada at 6:30.

And see the post below regarding a holiday ride on Monday, if anyone is interested.

July 4

Deidre usually has to me the new month's schedule early in the week, so I'll post our July 3 destination when I've got it.

But I thought I'd throw out the the idea of an extra un-sanctioned pick-up ride on the holiday, Monday July 4. How about we meet at Granada at  6 AM to beat the heat, with a destination of Le Grande Orange and pick up a bagel or muffin to go, and ride over to the Arcadia Fouth of July parade which starts at 8 AM. A small town parade in the middle of Phoenix.

June schedule posted

Summer has arrived, and set up Satan's own waiting room outside. 115 this weekend? Oy. First destination this month is Matt's Big Breakfast. Hope to see you Sunday!

I stumbled across this on the Intertubes, it's Michael Stipe of R.E.M. performing David Bowie's "Ashes to Ashes" at a tribute concert April 1 at Radio City Music Hall.

Yes, Michael now looks like he fell off a Smith Brothers cough syrup bottle.
